In Natal, at the stop lights, kids run up to the cars and wash the windshields for any amount of change.
Most of these kids are crack addicts who work to earn their next fix.
We started by making stops, around the city, with sandwiches, juice and the Word. Three years later, we know these kids and they know us.
We recently started from scratch in brand new areas of the city. The old stops are happy with frequent stops to talk and visit. The new stops get the sandwiches, which help to give meaning to the Word.
